Learning Library — Building Early Literacy, One Book at a Time

Hey there,

We wanted to take a moment to share the purpose of this page. The Learning Library exists to help parents find age‑specific books that genuinely support early literacy, imagination, and growth. From first‑ word books and ABCs to classics like I Am a Bunny and Corduroy, this page brings together the same foundational stories trusted in preschools and kindergarten classrooms. 

Our goal is simple: to give parents confidence that every book here strengthens development in a meaningful way.

We believe reading to babies and toddlers builds knowledge, imagination, life experience, and parent presence. It’s one of the easiest ways to connect, teach, and create routines that matter. In our home, reading can happen anytime — but bedtime is our anchor. Right now, we read nine quick books each night. Favorites include Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Goodnight Moon, Snuggle Puppy, and Brown Bear, Brown Bear. These aren’t long stories yet, but they’re perfect for rhythm, repetition, and early learning.

Some of our favorite moments come from these simple reads. When we “sing” Snuggle Puppy, we give little tickles during a specific part — now she rubs her tummy to ask for them. When we read Brown Bear, Brown Bear, she makes animal noises and joins in. And when she pointed to the ball in 100 Words and said “ball,” it was one of those tiny milestones that reminds you how powerful reading really is.

We built the Learning Library because we love books and wanted one place where parents could filter through children’s titles without feeling overwhelmed. Quality books are easy to find — but finding ones that match your child’s development is harder. That’s why we focus on ages 0–5, with a few stories for older littles. And one thing we love including in every book article is a section on how to read the book — because the way you read matters just as much as the book itself.

Our promise is simple: We only recommend valuable books — no agendas, no political or social bias, no filler. Just meaningful stories, early‑learning classics, and books you might remember from your own childhood. You may even find a few you’ll want to share again.
