SeasonalBabyGear.com - Our Why

Hey there,
First, thank you for being here. Before you dive in, we wanted to share the heart behind SeasonalBabyGear.com — the real reason we built it and what we hope it becomes for your family. This site grew out of our own parenting journey, our questions, our routines, and the moments that shape our home. It’s our “why,” and it’s the foundation for everything you’ll read below.
In our home, mornings start quietly. One of us sits in the chair with our toddler, Sesame Street playing softly while she drinks her milk. Sundays smell like pancakes and sound of laughter, with Leanne cooking and our little one “helping” in the way toddlers do — stirring, spilling, dancing in the living room. Our life isn’t perfect, but it’s full: heavy work schedules, long hospital shifts, church and laundry on Sundays, and a home that always seems to have Sing or Little Bear playing in the background like our family theme song. We’re busy professionals and full‑time parents, doing our best to raise our children with faith, structure, routine, fun, and love.
SeasonalBabyGear.com began during a season when we were constantly Googling milestones, observations, and general questions for our youngest. We searched for guidance on solids, self‑feeding, curiosity phases, bedtime routines, and everything in between. We found bits and pieces across the internet — some helpful, some overwhelming, some buried under noise. Reddit had real parents, but sometimes too many voices at once. What we couldn’t find was a single place that combined real experience, practical gear, and developmental support in one trusted resource. We wanted a place that feels like talking to another parent who’s been there and is willing to share what actually helped.
So we built the resource we wished existed.
SeasonalBabyGear is grounded in our own home and our own parenting journey. Our youngest currently reads about nine books before bed — a routine that started small and grew into a nightly ritual we cherish. We needed more book ideas, especially stories, so we built the Learning Library as a place where parents can find high‑quality books that support development, creativity, and imagination. We wanted parents to have one place where they could read about milestones, explore guidance, and then find practical gear or books that actually make life easier. Not trends. Not overpriced items. Just quality, useful products that fit real family life — Our choices reflect the way we actually live — winter weather, summer travel, long flights, and the everyday routines that fill our home..
Our professional lives shape how we parent and how we built this site. I work in healthcare security administration, specializing in regulatory compliance, training, and workplace violence prevention. Leanne is an emergency department technician at a level‑two trauma center and a certified car seat specialist. Our careers demand structure, consistency, fairness, and calm under pressure — and those same values guide how we raise our children. They also guide how we build SeasonalBabyGear: clear workflows, organized systems, reliable information, and a commitment to safety and development.
We use AI tools, and we want to be transparent about that. As full‑time parents with full‑time careers, time management matters. AI helps us maintain brand consistency, create customized on‑theme images, and structure our articles using frameworks that keep everything readable and aligned. But the heart of this site — the stories, the opinions, the experiences, the parenting moments — is always human. We edit everything ourselves. We built a voice framework to keep our tone grounded and real. AI helps with consistency; it never replaces our perspective as parents.
Three products anchor our “why” because they genuinely changed our parenting life. The Momcozy milk warmer was a game‑changer during midnight feedings and cross‑country flights — warm milk, no microwave hot pockets, no stress. The Doona car seat and stroller combo made travel manageable, especially with TSA and FAA approval and the ability to switch from car seat to stroller in seconds. And while not a product, our postpartum and dad hacks articles became emotional anchors for us — reminders that every parent experiences milestones, challenges, and moments of pride. We want other parents to feel supported, understood, and celebrated through all of it.
Our promise is simple: we will only recommend products and books that are quality, practical, and aligned with development, growth, and joy. Our articles are here to support your journey, not overwhelm it. Childhood should be protected, enjoyed, and remembered — and as adults, we get to be kids all over again. That means grilled cheese sandwiches during cartoons, pancake Sundays, bedtime stories, and the small moments that make family life meaningful.
SeasonalBabyGear.com exists because we believe parents deserve a resource built on real experience, real routines, real challenges, and real love. We’re here to help you feel confident, supported, and connected — from milestones to gear to learning and everything in between. We’re real parents, just like you, building a space where you can breathe, explore, and know you’re not alone.
From our family to yours,
Anthony & Leanne
